Overview
App Blocker: Screen Time (formerly Qadry) is an iPhone focus timer with optional Apple Screen Time app blocking, goals, schedules, and progress tracking. It is independently operated by Yurii Koshkin.
This policy describes app version 1.5.0 and later. Earlier versions, including 1.4, used different product-analytics providers; see Product Analytics. This website is static and does not use web analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, or tracking scripts.
Information Stored on Your Device
App Blocker stores core app data locally on your device, including:
- Focus session start and end times, duration, completion status, and streak or daily summary data.
- Focus intent and slip reason choices, including custom text if you enter it.
- Weekly goal, onboarding state, theme preference, notification preferences, and optional display name.
- Smart Auto schedules, skipped scheduled sessions, and reminder settings.
- Selected app or category tokens used for optional app blocking.
- In version 1.5.1 and later, selected website tokens, the free-session allowance, saved onboarding choices, and retryable session-history recovery information.
This information is used to provide the app experience. It is not stored in an App Blocker account because the app does not require account creation.
Screen Time and App Blocking
App Blocker uses Apple's Screen Time APIs, including Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity, to request permission and apply app restrictions during focus sessions.
When you choose apps or categories to block, Apple-provided selection tokens are stored on your device and used to apply or remove restrictions. The app does not receive the content of other apps, messages, browsing content, or a continuous device-usage history.
Product analytics may include whether permission was granted and a coarse count of selected apps or categories. It does not include the names of selected apps or categories, or the underlying selection tokens.
In version 1.5.1 and later, website selections use Apple-provided tokens stored on your device. Only a coarse combined selection count may be included in product analytics; website names, addresses, browsing content, and selection tokens are not sent through product analytics.
Product Analytics
In app version 1.5.0 and later, App Blocker uses TelemetryDeck for a limited set of product-usage and subscription-flow events. New installations have product analytics enabled by default. You can turn it off in Settings; turning it off stops future product-analytics sending immediately and discards queued events. If you turn it back on, sending resumes after the next app launch.
Events are limited to an allowlist and may describe app screens, onboarding progress, permission outcomes, focus-session start or end, coarse goal or selection counts, and purchase or restore outcomes. App Blocker does not send names of selected apps or categories, custom focus or slip-reason text, email addresses, raw error messages, receipts, transaction identifiers, or precise location through product analytics. TelemetryDeck may process technical or pseudonymous information as described in its own policy.
Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer, and TikTok are not used for product analytics in version 1.5.0 and later. App Blocker still uses Firebase Remote Config to retrieve app configuration; a configuration request may include app, device, and fetch metadata. Firebase Crashlytics remains included for crash diagnostics.
Earlier app versions, including version 1.4, used Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer, and TikTok for product analytics or attribution. This policy's version 1.5.0 description does not change the behavior of older versions that remain installed.
Product analytics is disabled in development, previews, automated tests, and simulator runs. TestFlight events are sent in the provider's test mode and are kept separate from production analytics.

Other Service Providers
App Blocker uses these services for features other than product analytics:
- Apple App Store, StoreKit, Screen Time, UserNotifications, ActivityKit, and WidgetKit: Used for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, app blocking permissions, local notifications, Live Activities, and widgets. Apple handles these services under Apple's privacy terms.
- RevenueCat: Used to load App Store products and manage purchase, restore, and entitlement checks. RevenueCat may process app user identifiers, device or app information, Apple receipt data, product identifiers, subscription status, and purchase events. App Blocker does not receive your credit-card number or billing address.
- Firebase Remote Config: Used to retrieve app configuration. Firebase may process app, device, and configuration-fetch information for this service.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Included for crash diagnostics. Crash reports may contain technical information about the app and device state when a failure occurs.
App Blocker does not require an account. Apple and RevenueCat may process information necessary to complete and verify purchases; their services are separate from optional product analytics.
Provider information: RevenueCat Privacy Policy, Firebase Privacy and Security, Apple Privacy Policy.
Purchases and Subscriptions
App Blocker may offer auto-renewing subscriptions, free trials where available, and a lifetime purchase. Product availability, trial eligibility, billing period, renewal terms, and price are shown in Apple's purchase flow before you buy. Apple processes payment details, billing, refunds, and subscription cancellation.
RevenueCat helps App Blocker load products and check entitlement status after purchase or restore. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. Apple publishes current subscription instructions at Apple Support.
Notifications and Live Activities
App Blocker may ask for notification permission to send local reminders for scheduled sessions, trial reminders, and focus-session completion. You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
App Blocker may show focus-session status in widgets, Live Activities, the Lock Screen, or Dynamic Island where supported. In version 1.5.0 and later, the app continues to send a Live Activity registration to an operational service we run on Cloudflare so it can send activity updates through Apple's push service. The registration includes a session identifier, ActivityKit push token, app topic and environment, session timing, and completion or blocking status. The server-bound activity title is the generic localized word “Focus”; your custom focus title remains on your device.
The operational service stores registration details while they are needed to manage the activity. Records are scheduled to expire no earlier than 24 hours after registration and at least two hours after the scheduled session end, then removed by periodic cleanup. To protect this service from excessive requests, it also temporarily stores a hash derived from the request IP address, request counts, and timing information. These rate-limit records are removed after approximately one hour; the rate-limit table does not store the raw IP address. This operational Live Activity service is separate from optional product analytics, and turning product analytics off does not disable it. Earlier versions, including 1.4, may have sent a custom focus label with Live Activity data; the version 1.5.0 change does not retroactively change information already sent.
Operational logs may also contain session identifiers, push-token hashes, delivery outcomes, and error details used to investigate service problems. The database cleanup periods above do not establish how long Cloudflare or device diagnostic logs are retained; those logs are managed separately. Contact [email protected] with questions about these records.
Support Communications
If you email support, Yurii Koshkin may process your email address, message content, attachments, and information you choose to include to respond. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or sensitive information that is not needed for support.
Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
App Blocker does not require account creation and does not provide a server-side account. Deleting the app removes local app data from your device, subject to normal iOS behavior and Apple-managed purchase history.
You can reset Screen Time permission in iOS Settings and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID. For privacy questions or requests about support emails or provider records, contact [email protected].
Children's Privacy
App Blocker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communications, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, or service providers change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
